A very good post/report. Always admired Jimmy Houston and his laugh is his trademark.
Thanks for sharing this for all to enjoy.
it's always nice when the "big guns", "top of their game", "pros" turn out to be the real deal not just some self over rate blow hard . Too cool Slab thanks for the report and all the time you put in for the site.
Jimmy is a good guy.....I have read a lot about him, he is an amazing man.
How awesome is that!!!!! Jimmy Houston is a legend...... Used to watch him every Saturday morning as a kid. Great story, thanks for sharing!!!
I wonder if Jimmy keeps in touch with the drum man! EB

Yep and he looks good for an old indian fisherman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jimmy always made sure he taped at least 1 crappie show every season, used his willow blade road runner series last year & caught my fair share. Hearing about the man behind the face, he'll always have my respect!
Glad you went Ed and looks like a great time. I would love to meet Jimmy, Bill Dance or even you. You alll are good old boys in my book and we all love to fish. :)
love to read your reports of where you been and where you are going, especially when its to Florida! lol
Awesome...that's just a great day for sure!
Ed, the pleasure was all mine. I think you were sitting at the "crappie table". Tim Huffman, Dan Dannemueller, Darl Black, Eva and Phil Rambo were right by you as I recall. :biggrinThanks for coming down to ICAST and our dinner. Blessings, TJ
Very cool!
Awesome!!!!
Love to hear Jimmy talk (and laughhttp://www.crappie.com/crappie/image...s/big-grin.png). You can just tell that fishing is in his blood and he never tires from going. And it doesnt seem to matter what he's fishing for either...he's always having fun. Thanks for sharing Ed.Thumbs Up
I envy you getting to have dinner with one of my idols also...He has always given me the impression that he would be a hoot on or off the water. I am glad T.J. Stalling was persistent in you making the dinner. He not only advertises and is a sponsor of crappie.com, he has proven to be a true supporter of this website by donating to one of our upcoming events later this year. Ed, you was truly in great company!!!
TJ is a true blue Crappie Man!
