Glad your getting a new tip. Broke 3 this year they were all new. Got new tips ain't broke any yet. Believe they have some bad tips out there right now just keep replacing till. They stop breaking. Paid 35 for mine bought 6 of em. Wally Marshall troll techs are 70 get what you pay for I Geuss. If I was to do it all over again Wally's put bnms to shame. If anybody is going to buy rods go with Wallys you won't be disapointed. If you side pull you loose at least a foot of reach bnm just to limber and your scared to death on trying to land a good size fish. So 35 dollars more will save
You a lot of unneccasary worrying. To each his own just my opinion. Glad you got your tip gator.
