1. It takes a lot of weight to sink a pallett stake bed.
2. If you fall down the ramp while carrying a pallett stake bed, it hurts like the devil.

We should all strive to learn something new each and every day. Today you learned two things and both will be useful information for the future. Rofl
I will be making note of this useful information you learned. Thanks :highfive
I feel both hurt and honored just to have been able to shareRofl
Hopefully on your home lake:cheers2
It might be hilarious now. BWAHAHAHAHA !! But I'm glad you're OK!! ;-)

Learn to load them without carry'n too far. Place on boat and then add rocks. With a little experince you will learn amount weight needed. Take Slabbandit along and you'll learn quickly what not to do.Rofl
Doesnt sound like a good start to a day.:( Hope youre alright.

Sure hope they pay off with all the problems you had today. Sounds like something that would happen to me. One time a friend and myself were trying to sink a pallet with stakes attached to it, and had a concrete block on it and it would not sink. Had to go to the bank and get another block to sink it. Luckily we were right at the ramp were the extra blocks were.
OMG! Well RCC i have to say it gave me a laugh, sorry but I think we've all had some bad experiences out on the water. I've mentioned on here before Pallets are really, really hard to sink and yes I've made several trips to the bank with dad and by myself cursing about HOW MUCH WEIGHT DOES IT TAKE TO SINK THIS THING! I learned to sink other stuff instead. Green goes down pretty good, dead and big= buoyant like a cork, hard to get to go down. I do hope you are ok, I work in safety so safety 1st but it brought back bad memories for me too. As somebody said maybe it'll pay off for you and some big fat slabs will soon inhabit it.
Hey RCC . stay with the boo buckets
Once you get it figured out it's easy and we use rocks instead of blocks.
Hope the boat ramp is ok. Its people like you that keep messing em up for he rest of us.
Thank you for putting more habitat out.
Hey Mojorig - Its the only lake we have in the area to put stuff in. I could see me and RCC headed down 67 with a load of boo buckets in the boat. They would put us in jail for wide load.
We really do appreciate the efforts you guys are putting at the lake. It will benefit fish and the anglers.
It's not me that's messing them up. I was just making sure the concrete was still safe. Stressed tested it with the left elbow, both knees, and the top of the left foot. It passed the hardness test with flying colors.
I hearby declare the ramp safe to launchRofl
Hey Nimrod, reckon you could UPS me some of those rocks.
