That's a nice one. Congrats to your sister.Thumbs Up I bet it gave her a real good tug. Any idea how much it weighed?
" Thats a good one thanks creek.Runs in the family" Need some rain on "Greers"
Nice fish Sister!
Nice Green Carp!
Could of used one that size this weekend on the arkansas river big bass bonanza!!!
Hard to tell how big he is the way she's holding him but I'd say 7+ least. He looks long but can't tell how fat he is. I caught 2 good bass last Summer and both were nearly the same length but the one out weighed the other by 2LB and was only 1/2" longer.
5.5-6.25
that one would do two tomato plants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Attachment 95391 Here's the smaller of the 2 I caught last Summer. This one was 6LB 10OZ and I think he was like 23". He's still roaming around out there somewhere unless someone's took him since. Either way her fish is a good fish, anything over 6LB is pretty good and anything over about 7 and half for public water is really good! I want a 19+ crappie now though. I think I've only caught one that big and it was years ago.
Attachment 95392 I figured I'd post the other one too since I posted the smaller one. This one was like 23.5" and weighed in at 8LB 13OZ, my biggest and he's on the wall now.
Skeeter you ain't impressive till ya pass 10 lbs. Ever see a 28'' Bass ?
And yes I caught in in Arkansas.

Way to take out those crappie killers guys, good job, there otta be a bounty on those things
Nim a lot of people have never even caught a bass over 6LB so I'd say it don't take a 10 to make you somebody! How old were you in that picture anyways?? Back in the early 2000's and in the 90's I caught way better fish than I do now....more people take em home now, more people bass fish now, way more tournaments, ect. The pressure is worse. I used to count how many over 5 or 6 I'd catch in a Spring, it's not like that now! Especially on lesser populated lakes. Just because the lakes are bigger sure don't equal better fishing. I've seen lots of public smaller lakes way better than these HS lakes! Once again when you talk to the local pro's and they can't find the bigger fish, they ain't there!
Put on that same hat and you ain't changed a bit.
You notice something about everyone of those pictures. NO LONG ARMS. People know when they got a goodun. Everyone of those are nice fish. You could probably can those and have some great fish patties.
Let me see if I can find my "big bass" pic.
Biggest I've ever caught. Maybe 4lbs actual . Light bream tackle, 4lb test, #8 bream hook, on a cricket, no net, offa that dock in the back ground. I figure with the tackle handicap figured in, I would estimate it at about 18 lbs.

Tell your sis thats a nice bass
Attachment 95441Spring 2009 around Jonesboro. How big you think this is?
6lb er
Hard to tell but looks bigger than any 6 lb.
Theirs a way of mearuring a fish by getting the length, girth, square it and divide by 800 I think and you can get pretty close to the weight. May need to search Google to get the right formula:
Slick, she got a nice fish shore nuff. I'm gonna go out to the pond and dig through the pile and see if I can find one like that.
A cousin caught a real nice one last weekend. The check was for $50,000.
Creekslick , sorry for the run away with your post about your sister's fine fish.
I'm with Nimrod, Creekslick. Sorry about hi-jacking the thread. You can tell your sister that bass is a goodun and she got the crappie board all in an uproar with it.
You guys ain't bothering me carry on.:cheers2
Sorry Creek nice Bass. A trophy !!!!!!!
