great picture, but for some reason ,something just don't seam right about that picture, probably my thinking, but if real ,I too say it's a great picture
I believe the image is of the net being pulled back with some fish spilling out as the net closes.
Awesome pic!
I believe the color palette has a lot to do with the detail. I have seen a lot of pictures that when the color palette was changed it exposed a lot more of the details. That is just an awesome picture
This is no reflection on CatFan, I read his posts often and respect his view points but again as I look at this picture it looks like an artist drawing, the picture shows the net from a little bit below the net looking out and upward and the net should not be flared from top to bottom like a dress, the weights would have pull the two sides in while going down, and if pulling up ,then the top of net would have went up and come together while bottom not move up, only come in until net got tight.I never saw down scan look up scan. sorry only my view point, and will not be first time I was wrong,LOL. Look close and tell me where I am wrong
Gene, you have brought up some good points. I do hope someone can come up with some answers. It sure is a good picture. If you are throwing a net the boat would not be moving so how do you get such a clear picture with DI? Maybe another boater passing by snapped it?????
I hope someone can validate the snapshot.
It almost looks like the HDS 10 was photoshopped into the picture. The detail of the HDS10 display buttons doesn't look as sharp as the boat background. I don't own a Lowrance, so maybe their display button lettering isn't real sharp to begin with?
Wow! If that's real then it's amazing as it leaves nothing to the imagination.Thumbs Up
One thing I have to say,The shadow from throw net in boat and time on Lowrance match up close, just can't see how di appear to look upward
I don't believe its looking up. The net is gonna give a transparent return and You are just seeing the weight ring through the net giving it that 3d effect. I'm not saying its real or fake but after using my hb 1198 I believe its very possible that it is legit. Lowrance has a beautiful Di that is capable of that shot.
It's not looking up, it's looking from the side. If you were going to fake it, it would be much easier on a screen cap than a photo.
Seriously, I'm hoping it is real but what about my question on this great picture with the boat sitting still. Is Lowrance that good? If so, that is what I was looking for 2 years ago.
Uh-oh, I just saw the .8mph. Is that where Lowrance speed is displayed? Looks out of place.:dono
