Double dipping / kept two limits today

I went Catfishing and caught a bunch, culled out a limit. Tested Crappie Logic jigs and they worked flawlessly! That is till it got hot and had to change to 1/8 oz. Donald from Crappie Logic only sent 1/16 oz. Sure is hot out there. Still culled out a limit of descent Crappie too. Thanks again for the jigs Donald.

Wow im glad you like em if i would have known i would have sent you some 1/8th oz thanks for the posts i knew you could put them to good use

We catch Cats over baited holes using liver on Zebco rod and reels. Used to use good Bass rods but lost too many.:yikes

Thanks, baiting a Catfish hole is a great way to keep the kiddies interested in fishing. When it's hot out go Catfishing.

what did you exactly do to bait caitfish, i have a 7 year old nephew that is dieing to go catch some "bid daddy catfish"

Get some sweet feed pellets and pour in around a drop off in the lake that holds Catfish to bunch them up. You can get any scrap grain (Rice, Corn, Milo, Soybeans) sour it in buckets of water a few days and use it. I feed a couple days before fishing. Longer you bait , normally the better it can be. I usually keep to holes baited several weeks every summer.Try to keep my spots baited every day or two. Carry some bait when you fish and toss handfulls around while fishing to keep them actively feeding.
