I have the smaller of the 2. I am wantin to purchase another brella for my boat, anybody got any suggestions other than the Sportbrella ? I like it because it fits down in the hole where boat seat pedestals fit and it fit pretty snug too

Yes, Academy Sports sells the Sport Brella XL and they are proud of it too, but worth it on day's like we havin now..

I bought one today from BP and they say to mount it to the back of your seat. I am concerned that it will pull free because of the stress load and mess up my seat. Any thoughts?

What did you buy, the one Dan mentioned or the Sport Brella?
I've got an 8' Sportsbrilla for the back of the boat for pulling cranks and one like Dan posted for the front for spider rigging. The mount that attaches to the back of the seat is surprisingly sturdy and I've had no problems with it.

Hey i bought a sports umbrella at sam's like last saturday for 15 i believe it is 7' maybe eight . If you don't mind the color . Thinking about getting another for the back .
