I'd be peed off for sure.
Not the dog's fault if you left them where she could get to them.
Bullet is cheaper than gas.
Its not the dogs fault, Its the owners. GEWBER. Animals are only what you teach them to be. So HushUp
They were on the boat....

There is alot of puppy there and alot of disipline in her future if you keep her. I disagree that it is not her fault and when I got through with her she would hope to never see another PST rod. She sound head strong, much like mine, and its gonna take whooping her butt and I mean good. Remember that there is a line between beating her and whooping her. Another thing that works good for me is a "bad Place", my dog at 5 still hates the bad place and has to go to it all along now. Labs and children are very much alike, very trainable. Untrained they both are a pain in the butt, nuff said.
She knows what a broken rod is good for....
She's crawled under my building and probably won't be out for a while....

If that had happened to me....problem would have been solved immediately. Wait untill your life jackets get torn up and the carpet and seats ripped out of your boat.....not to mention shredding the trailer wires, lol.....you better act fast.....just saying, lol
How did the dog get into the boat?
She must be part Jack Russell.
My 2 get in and out of the boat all the time, getting in the boat aint an issue, making her not want to get in the boat is the trick or if she is in the boat leave crap alone. If you can stand it she WILL learn but it all depends on whether or not you can stand it. Bet she dont eat no more feshing rods ifn you done your part.:biggrin
dogs will be dogs, pen, chain. if you punish a dog after the fact, does no good, your probably better off getting rid of the dog. and I bet the dog will be happier not getting beatup cause it is a dog,,,, .....
My Yorkie loves cell phone chargers. I think she went thru about a dozen of them before I got her stoped eatting them!
It's not the end of the world... It's going to cost me about $70 - $80 to replace 4 rod tips.. 2, pst 122's and 2, pst 163's....
But I do love the her (dasiy) and will be keeping her...
It's just hard not to get mad when I saw what she did...
Still, she is just a puppy and kids will be kids....
Just got to train her to play with her toys and leave our stuff alone...

I didnt put things away and where Ree couldnt get em when she was little and I raise my dogs the same way, they can learn. I take my child and my dogs where ever I want to without any probs, children and dogs both should be a joy to life and if to taught to be they will be.
I've got a choc pup coming in about 2 weeks. Showed Shorty your pics and now he's trying to talk me out of it. I'm sure I'll have some pics to post of stuff she tears up to!! Just hope it's not the fishing stuff!!
She tore up the rods when we was home...

I know, but you had left her. She is smart and they do things that will amaze you. You prolly think I am crazy but her target was thought out, she wanted to see what yall were doing with the boat, got up there and checked things out. I know it sounds crazy but keep paying attention to what she does and when she does it and you will come to think it is not so crazy.
My services can be had, but they aren't cheap. Figger I can stop her from chewing your tackle for around $426 dollars. I've had success with getting 2 out of 3 dogs to do exactly what I wanted

Just my $0.02, but I had a lab before I drove a truck and she was very deliberate with her destructiveness/retaliation. That pup just wants to be involved. She looks at you like an "Alpha figure" and a leader. You lead and she follows. If you leave her behind, she gets mad and tears up YOUR stuff. She's temperamental and territorial. Just remember this next time. She loves you and wants to be with you all the time. Hope that helps... Come on out to Davis Lake sometime.
