My golden retriever/lab mix dog actually sniffs em down pretty good, digs at em and catches and kills em!
We get a few ever once in a while and tried all kinds of stuff.Only thing that ever worked is get out there early in the morn.Try to find one diggin and stick sharp shooter behind it and have a spade and dig em up.

We have a weenie too, he will go in the hole after them and pull them out. Weenies were bred to pull badgers out of their holes so this type of hunting is in their dna. When he gets one hes so proud of it he wont put it down until I have seen it.Quote:

Jerry Baker had some tonics that he would make up for moles. He was on public tv.
Rose bush or blackberry cuttings. Push them into the tunnels and cut off at ground level, about a foot apart.
Human hair, dig and find tunnels and put a hand full of hair in it. About every 3 feet.
Bubble gum/ juicy fruit gum, chew it a bit get it all soft and stick it in the tunnels. About every 3 feet.
Human piss, collect it and store for about 3 days. Pour about 1 cup in tunnel about every 3 feet.
The hair, gum and piss gets on their fur and messes with them.
Harbor Freight has some solar powdered chasers. $10 if on sale, $20 if not. One is good for about a 60 foot circle. I have 6 in my garden.

Got em bad to this year also trying everything and still got em. Old Yorkie used to take care of em but he has retired on me I guess,to much work.
We usually spray our yard with Lorisban every year. Never had problems with moles. Last year Shorty didn't spray and the moles took us over. Been spraying this year and so far no moles. I think if you kill or run off what they like to eat you will get rid off them. Seems to work for us.

Drop some loaf bread with red food coloring on it into their tunnel. When they crawl over it, it will give them the red a$$ and they'll leave.
You have to get rid of the food source !! Kill the grubs and they will go away! They are kind of like Wb if there is food they will stay !!!!!
