I am looking to buy a 2 bank onboard charger for my new tracker pro 165 and the one I am looking at is the bass pro xps. I get 20 % off with my tracker discount card but if anyone can advise me if it's a good one I really appreciate it. Thanks

I need a 2 bank charger as well
I've been using them for a long time now with no problems. They are made by Pro Mariner for BPS.
Thanx I'm going to get one I think
Should I get the 8 amp or the 10 amp it's going on a 12 volt system
I am also looking at the Pro Charging Systems Go Charge Recreation Series Battery Charger as well
I've had good luck with MinnKota chargers on my boats.
I have a BPS charge and haven't had any problem with it. I have a 15 amp (3 bank) which is 5 amp per bank. I fish some long days and no matter what I'm always fully charged the next day. If I had to do it over I may opt to get 10 amp per bank.
I used a 5-5-5 for many years and now have a much smaller rig with a 6-6. On week long fishing trips neither has failed to give me fully charged batteries the next day.
I have the Mariner 3-bank charger and love it.
DualPro onboard chargers are worth considering too. I've used two of them (RS2 & RS3, 6 amps per bank) for several years and they've been excellent. The cases are plastic & sealed watertight, so you neither worry about electrolysis (aluminum hull) or getting wet. My typical trip is 12 hrs on a TMO lake. I may cover as much as 12 miles & routinely fight the wind with the TM, so by day's end my batteries are drawn down. There's never been a time when the chargers didn't bring all my batteries up to full charge by the next morning.
You shouldn't need to charge your cranking battery in your Tracker - unless there's something wrong. Then, you only have a single battery to charge (one bank). For my single trolling motor battery, I just use a simple, portable charger. It's worked fine for many years. In my opinion, those type of chargers you are talking about are for 24 and 36 volt trolling motor battery systems. Then, it becomes a matter on convenience. Just my 2 cents.
