Scott is thinking of getting some brown egg laying chickens, just needs to repair a place to keep them. Guy next door to him has them and gave him some eggs which put the idea in his head. Hope he does and gives me some brown eggs, they make an outstanding pound cake, golden in color.
You can get brown eggs at the store...WalMart has them
Ain't nothing better than fresh eggs... We had a chickin coop in SC and I loved those fresh eggs... Also chickins eat the bugs out of the yard....

I got 32 chickens and more steady hatching. Started with 3 hens and one Rooster. They mutlipy like raddits but nothing better then fresh eggs and fresh chicken when old girls stop laying

Well if'n Rees is going to go through and have a building for layin hens, might as well set it up for a few hogs as well, nothin like the smell of chicken and hog crap to clear the sinuses!
With those types of lights I think the hens are going to lay chipolte eggs.
Old Rees might be fixing a place where he can have a Hoedown for them chickens!
