I'll throw my hat into the ring and say BPS XPSi series. THey're made by ProMariner and I'm going on my third year with a 3 bank charger plugged in 24/7 when the boat isn't in the water. It's lightweight and recharges fast.

The Dual Pro I just got works just like the MinnKota I have up front for trolling battery. It charges in steps and has the maintenance mode also.Quote:

I bought a boat that has this one...a ProTournament 150. It's quick....charges all 3 batteries overnight. I dont know how long it has been in the boat. I've had the boat for a little over a year now.

I have a 15 amp, three bank from BPS that is many years old and still works great, never had a issue with it cooking the water out of the batteries. I'll buy another when this one dies.
I have MinnKota and have had no problems...
