Headed to New Orleans

Tomorrow morning with daughter, sil, and grandkids for sight seeing & eating. Just a two day trip but looking forward to it. Pics to come.

One of our favorite places to eat when we were on a railroad layover was Rocky and Carlos in Chalmette. Hamburger steak and macaroni and cheese. I haven't seen anyone eat it all yet. Be safe and have fun.

There are so many good places to eat down here that you can never get to all of them. I used to fly for a bridge building company that had a lot of jobs in the NO area and had an apartment and car furnished plus a very generous expense policy. I ate at all the best places, and I found out where the locals ate, and the company would pay me cash for all the receipts I had at the end of the week. What wrecked that gig??????????? A woman.
