Redemption
Well after having such a tough time yesterday in Mississippi, I had the morning off and decided to give Arkansas fish a chance again. Went for 2 hours and they bit slow but steady. Water temps 75 degrees, fish didn't care what color jig I used today they bit em all. Attachment 91274

I don't think the river is a barrel meat. Left those fish alone and on the Arkansas river now. Spent a lot of time learning it and now I am actually putting poles in the water in it. The river is a big system but I got a start I it. Figured Washington and them mississippi lakes was a far and expensive drive and the river is close and after seeing crappie pro hauling fish i figured I could do the same thing. Takes 2 hours to get to ms lake so a four hour turn around time. That's four hours more I can fish here in our river system. It's paying off!!!!! I know you used to fish it. I found its really not that hard to learn with good electronics. Tight lines.
