Gary is right........I have been to the real one and it was very moving.....I don't know that I want to go back, too many names on there of people that I knew. I think one visit was enough for me.
My. Uncles name is on the one in Washington. I was in shock when I saw how big it was. Went there with my Dad. I think it was the only time I've seen him cry...

I would have to agree. Vietnam happened before my time, but when I was a child we went to Washington and made a stop at the wall. It was one of 2 time I can remember my father crying. I will never forget that moment. I cant comment on the mechanics behind that war, but I can say I make sure my children are aware of the sacrifice that was made, not just in this war but all of them. THank you to the service men and women!
