If anyplace that is good here in southaven or horn lake, you can't get in on a friday night without a big wait time.
Tex-mex or mex-cal in hernando sounds good to me.
I use to go to Dale's when it was an ice cream stand. Watched it grow over the years. It use to be great food. Roast beef platter was the best. I don't know what happened. It's been about 3 years since I've eaten there. Service suxd big time and the food was almost there.
Mi peblous hernando has outdoor patio and good service.

Boy, you got that right. It was Dairy Haven for years. Then when he built on, it was Dale's Dairy Haven. You could walk inside and order at the window, car hop or drive thru. When it became Dale's, no more drive thru, no car hops and no walk ups. It was a first class restaurant. Dale turned the steaks himself.
I won't be fishing, but will meet for a chat during dinner.
Sounds good, I remember him turning steaks. I used to be in some of the pics he had in there.

Dam, I got a weiner in my brain. Backyard grilled burgers at my place. Chips, no fries. Bring your own drinks and special fixings and dips, pot luck kinda thing. No smoking in the house. No place to park boats. We get a 100% on this, I'll order burgers and give directions. Dinner at 7pm.
Yer going to have to wait anywhere you go in southaven / horn lake. Another choice would be casino's. Not far from hernando, good food, not much wait time, adult beverages, and you have a better chance of winning money than fishing in a mud hole!

No way I'd want to drive 25 minutes to the casinos and leave a boat out in the parking lot. You'd be lucky if your boat was still there.
Theres also a fish house out east of town past feelays. Think its called pawpaws or something. Not ten minutes from the interstate if you dont want to eat mainstream
