Didn't get much in Cockrum, the truck was wet this morning but no puddles in the driveway. Looks like we have some coming though. A lot of rain now will turn it into chocolate milk but at least it will start filling up.
It's poring down here at the refinery now. Hope it keeps up a while. That would help butla.

Is it gonna muddy the snot out of the lake, them fesh is used to muddy conditions for the most part anyhow?
Yep, won't make any difference. They live it muddy water almost 24/7/365 with just a few days exception of lovely stained conditions.
It's already muddy from what little rain we got last week. So don't think more rain will make it much worse.
I have less than 3/4" here at the house. One gauge out from the back deck and one in the garden. Both about the same for now.
Not enuff to do anything yet.
1 1/16" looks like it's over for now.
As of 12:00 butla still at 210....pffffttttttttt

Started about hour ago. Maybe 1/2 " now. Need more.
They were open yesterday to!! I don't thing them nasty COE fellers want us to have a tourney there. But you look on mdwfp website at the fishing reports and they say the Corp has started holding water (see below). I'm not a genious, but...seems to me it would be just a tad bit hard to hold water if your still sucking it outa there.

Water level 210.59 ft, falling 0.07 ft/day, 1.4 ft below rule curve Wednesday. Summer pool is 220 ft and is dependent on rainfall to get to this level. The Corps has begun holding water to reach summer pool which begins May 15. For water level information, call (662)562-6261 or check at www.mvk.usace.army.mil/riverstage/bullet.txt for a table or http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/offices/ed/edh/plots/sardplot.jpg for a graph. If you don’t care how much water is going down the spillway, this site has both lake levels and graphs: http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/offices/ed/edh/resrep.htm.
Its pitiful.Down right awful
Rivergauges is the best place to look--but yep water is flowing out-only up .08 in the last 24hrs but it will still be fine this weekend
so far only .57 of precip for butla in the last 24hrs
Bout an inch at Coontown early, not much later, not nearly enough though.
Butla at 210.30 no change by the rain
