Been working on my umbrella stands today. Not sure if it's the best idea, post a pic on how you have yours mounted and lets compare.

That'll shade ya but it's gonna be hard to set the hook on your poles with it that far forward.
Be fine for crankin though.

Your right feelay but you can spin it around to where the umbrella is behind you. The umbrella will stop just a little in front of your face but still not sure that will work for spider rigging till I do a some field testing.Quote:

ATM put ours up yesterday, n it was difficult trying to pull fish in...Iffn u cld make that tilt back when u needed to, that would probably work great.Quote:

I've tried the seat mount at the front and back of the boat. It gets in the way of landing fish. Slow troll, jig trolling. I have a center console with a mount. It doesn't get in the way as much, but it does. You can stand under it for a few. Wide bream hat with a fan does the best and cold water.
I don't have pics. But EZ sanded down my Sportbrella shaft and welded a washer on as a stop. Now it will fit in any of my six seat bases. Still kind of hard to spider rig under it. When cranking I strap it to the front and pull off the back.
I for one, being from Florida, don't use one and don't want one. Sunblock is a must! And if I get too hot I just go for a swim.Quote:
