Caught a few over on Black River today. Really nice fish, though no hogs, all the fish were suspended toward the middle, and caught by casting a jig (with a 10' pole I might add) and they were about a foot off the bottom. Blue Chart was the best color.

Caught this one Thursday over at Shirey Bay.
It don't take many of those to be a mess. You can keep the fish, just write down the coordinates and drop them off with the wife monday. She'll know what do do with them.

Thanks for the report. I like fishing on the Black river. Were you fishing in the main river for the first pics? I have tried crappie in main river on the Black and White with not much luck.
No they both were bays off the river. I have fished the main river some, when it gets really low and you can't get into the sloughs, catch some really nice fish in the still waters, but numbers are definitely hard to come by. Hows the fishing been on the white? Haven't been over there in years. Used to love the bream fishing over there.
