Well they finally started biting. We've got 24 so far, mostly in the last couple of hours. Steve hooked these two at the same time.

Hey no fair catching 2 at a time.
We quit around 11:00 with 31. Steve took them home. Piggly Wiggly time.
Kind of a strange day, guess the post spawn is upon us, hard to pattern. Still a few males with color tho. Also it seemed again if you were going to get one off that stump you got it as soon as you pulled up to it and was very little use to "hover". Seemed to want something with a dark color when we first got there and by time we left all "bright" colors were best. But we did get some good fish and after the way we started 31 was great. It was too slick for me, I like what I call a crappie chop to break up the sunlight. But it was a great day for me, back on the water. Took Carol to Houston to see her sister and she had 2 nieces flying in for a visit, one from NC and the other from Washington State so I got to sit at Rae's house while they all shopped and talked. Read a lot of books off my iPad, no WiFi at her house. Good to be back home in my rut.
Great report mr. Steve
Great catch fellas. The smile on Steve's face says it all. Lots of envious folks readin this thread for sure!:biggrin
Looking good Scott and Steve.
Would have been a banner day if the second pic was with a different hat.
