Major and I pulled across the mouth of clear creek back and forth the day of the camp and did pretty good. Good luck.

Well we caught around 50-60 fish and only 3 keepers. The weather was perfect. I'll post some pics in a little while.. caught a lot of em on my pink an chatruse cranks I painted... Started out with 200's on one side and 300's on the other. After about 15 fish all on the 200's we changed all of them to 200's. Had 5 fish on at one time, that was fun!..

wtg. Pulled for a bit on butla today (since I caught some a few weeks back pulling) didn't catch didly water still a bit too low. Saw the biologist/warden and he said "your the first person I've seen pulling cranks this year--usually dont start seeing it until July" well--tells you i don't know nuttn. Wasn't worried about it though--got most of the main portion of the lake recorded:)
He is probably a very intelligent guy at his job, (biologist/warden), but he could learn some about pulling cranks on here.Quote:

I'm still learning about this crank pulling stuff. I figure the more I do it the more I'll learn. We marked a lot of fish 15'- 21' in the channels using my navionics. But couldn't catch any thing deeper than 10'. We pulled baits every depth from 8' to 18'. Had our best luck around 9'. We caught a stripper on a crank that was barely in the water. I mean there was only 4' to 5' of line out when he hit it. That was a trip!

Nice Gator!! Got my predator wet the other day, Can't wait to start pulling. I just cant catch a break here at the plant. Can't get our units lined out since T/A.....but it's gettn a lil better! Nice catch....guess ima have to get me a supply of 200's for early season pulln
