What's wrong with the Huckabee rods?
Not a thing except he still doesnt have em in..I have an Ozark heavy and its an amazing rod. Great feel and light and its heavy enough to rip a big ole slab right out of the brush. Its the 1st one I have ever tried and like I said its amazing......Talked to Todd yesterday on the water and he said they might be in next week but thats what he has said for the last month......Ranger
OK WTB a 10' Huckabee if you have 1 drawing dust and needs a home...lol......Ranger
Sorry Ranger, I thought you had one of the older Quantum XtraLite Huckabee rods...
Ranger, I'd like to see that rod sometime. You like it as much as the Huckabee rods?
Meat never owned a Huckabee Rod ...YET......But I see 1 in my near future......Ranger
Ranger, are these the Ozark rods you're talking about?
Ozark Rods
BTW, I love my 10' Pro Angler Rod. Not as stout as a Huckabee rod, but lighter and plenty strong enough to horse those slabs over the side. Take a look at this video of one of their rods.
Pro Angler Rods
No Don Grizzly doesn't have to heavy jigging pole in their arsenal yet. The UL is what it says UL and kinda like the BnM jiggin pole which is really lite action..will look at the Pro Angler Rod but really wanted a match set..lol..guess I will break down and take the hit for high price shipping..lol..Ranger
Not looking anymore...found and bought 2 while I was at it..thanks all
ozarks..lol...ok snoopy's ur a hoot Don
alright, gonna get this one going again, it has been over a year now and you should have had the chance to try out the Ozark and the Huckabee rods. What is your verdict and why? I just purchased 3 Ozarks yesterday from Donald Blakley (Conway) so I am curious if i made the right choice!!!!!!!!!
Josh I have 4 Ozarks. They make 2 models in the 10'. I use the Heavy Jigging Model cause the other is way to light for me. Now I also use the Huckabee Rods as well and are my go to rod. TheMeat Dragga is a med heavy action rod and is great for pulling and fishing heavy brush. I also have the dippin stick rod and works well while flipping stumps and swimming baits under trees. Like I said I have both and it's just a preference as I see it
I think you have way to many rods Mark!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
I may have to grab a Huckabee rod or two also just to see the difference.
Never have 2 many rods. In the next few weeks I will be fishing with a new rods from BoneHead Tackle. These rods are carbon fiber/graphite composite. I will be using the 6' and 7' models in light action for cast and dragging technique. Excited about testing these new rods and giving my reviews........Ranger
Fished for the first time the Huckabee 11' Pullin Rod. I am in Love totally!!! Medium action with a great tip. Very sensitive with great backbone. Just thought I would pass this along....Ranger
