an hour of jackson, in order? PUBLIC lakes that is LOL
eagle, chotard/albermarle, mize...sorry, only came up with 3
Like that lake in mize but have never fished Eagle, or Chotard form Bream. Won;t be but a couple weeks til the full moon and I'm itching to get on some good bream with that flyrod
Wish I was closer to the delta oxbows, love to bream fish.
Used to fish Eagle for bream back in the 70's, it was great.
What's a VBE?
Oh I see. It's what WB put on you and maj the other day. A "Vertical Beatdown Event". WB done told me his secrets fer whoopin you on yo home lake and I ain't about to tell.
Heck DD you are on one the best brim lakes in the state. THE REZ. And i can tell ya from experience they gonna taste and eat a whole lot better than delta brim. Not to offend anyone now but the bream from the delta lakes are nice ones but they carry a strong taste compared to ones elsewhere. But for numbers and size I would have to pick lake Ferguson.
minner, he rode with someone this time and last time he was tolt exactly what to do and where to go. Still that fella had to keep yelling at him to quit being stewpit and do what he said. LOL GitFaGrease, I've caught some bream on Barnett but ain't never found any BIG one's. Just small handsized. I wanna break out the flyrod and get on some good ones
It's alittle futher than an hour but Trace lake should be hot and big bream and I got a 10 acre pond that will be hot.
I'll give it a shot Grease but I'm wanting some bearly get yo hands around sized bream. The lake is Mize (USED to be called ;lake Ross Barnett) Legion Lake in Simpson county and Lake Claude Bennett in Jasoer County are good ones but they've fertalized them all the last 4 years in a row the week of the full moon in May. gtalk about shutting a bite down
Go back in June on the full moon, they gonna still be there. Have caught some monsters on Grenada but it has been a long time ago.
Cant believe you cant see the beds with yo lectronics.
I've found some great bed with the SI John. Just nothing on em
Albermarle, chotard, ferguson, eagle. My favorites in that order.
ow big are they in those lakes? I've caught some in Eagle but they were just bearly hand sized, not bull blues
BIG!! You can catch some pound bream!! I like to catch the river at about 22-19' falling ,slower the better. Get in the trees and hang on!! That's when I have the best success. It's hard to beat the live river oxbows on bream, in my opinion.
how deep ya fishing? Just a couple feet deep or they on the bottom
I always start off about 4' in 4-6' of water.
