Extra light wire hooks
Watched a video of Ronnie Capps the other night and he talked about extra light wire hooks. I was wondering if y'all use em and who manufactures them? Bending a hook back into shape seems a lot quicker than retying

Eagle Claw has a light hook. See if I can find the number.

Do they allow you to pull off of snags fairly well without breaking off? I use 10lb mono. That gonna be strong enough?

Yes and yes, but always have spare rigs already tied and ready to go.

I have a foam swimming pool float cut into strips with about 8 extras tied. It's hard to run a foot control tm, watch poles, and retie! Use a snap swivel to just hook to a new three way swivel if one breaks. But they go fast with me!

This is the rig I use,http://img.tapatalk.com/44f1e3dc-2f49-ccab.jpg the hook leader is 8" and from the 3way swivel to the sinker is 14" than 8" to lower hook

That's a good start... I keep enough to re rig all my poles twice...

That's very similar to mine, I have roughly 30" from swivel to bottom hook, gives around two feet of separation. Helps me cover a larger strike zone. I ain't good enuff to dial in on em real close
