Anyone interested? Could bring my boat or cover expenses for other boat? I don't know this lake at all and won't have time to learn it 1st. Anyone know the lake amd want to fish this? Not great fisherman but I hae fun doing it anyway.
I'll be there again this year. I did not do great last year, but had fun and won several raffle prizes.
I will be there again with some great door prizes....
Just around the corner.. Who's going to make it?
Don't sound like many Shane. Maybe you scared them all off thinking they can't beat you. (Insert smiley face. Here). Anyone guide that lake open on. Friday to show me around for a fee opf course?
I could tell you where to go on that lake, but that wouldn't be fair to others fishing the tourny... well that, and Chatt wouldn't take me to CC's Pizza and foot the bill again either! LOL! Good luck though, wish I was coming to it!

Fair? If they was in my live well I probably still could not catch them. Hey ill buy ci-ci's all even bring those stickey buns to the table for you.
You have a PM
Thanks to captain Dan, we will see you all there
The KDWP has published two sets of waypoints for brushpiles they have placed. There is basically two branches to Clinton. Rock creek and the Wakarusa river. Both have standing timber at all depths. Big mudflat at the point in main body. If that helps Good if it doesn't just follow Shane.
That's why he has 285hp. No one can follow/keep up. Love that classic 50 at the pump but not 60 mph across lake. It is for special olympics so let the fun begin. Shane if you follow yourself does that mean. You chase our own tai?l
My motor is jacked up right now. If I get it figured out before then I'd like to come out and give it a shot. Never fished a tourney before but have always wanted to. Plus I'd like to pick Shane and Chatts brain on the LSS.
Troller (Dennis) and Randy will be there
It's that time. Can't wait to see everyone on Saturday. We have lots of door prizes to give out...
New to this lake and these tournaments. Quess the winning weioht for the teams 10 fisj? Winner recioeves a congradulations. Ill quess 14bs
Will be at Clinton Friday pre fishing with nuctech in a grey Champion. Good luck to all fishing the tournament this Saturday.
Hey Bruce, I'll be out there also Friday afternoon to try and figure out where the slabs are at. I'll give you a call when I get there to see if you have had any luck.
Did you get a different boat this year?
Good luck Saturday to all that is fishing this weekend.
thanks to all who helped work and organize this tournament. it was a lot of fun.
Results?
I want to say "THANKS" to everyone that attended the Special Olympics Tournament last weekend. We had a great group of fisherman there and we raised over $4000.00 so I was told. This is really impressive!
Also thanks to the generous teams that donated cash back… Hope to see everyone there next year and invite anyone you can.
Top three teams
1st place 12.55 lbs
Jeremy Herring & Tony Niemeyer
2nd place 12.46
Lynn Beckwith & Danny Lynn
3rd place 12.40
Shane Eustice & Jim Bybee
Big Fish 2.15
Shane Eustice & Jim Bybee
I'm surprised Beckwith & Lynn didn't win it! :yikes Them guys are tough no matter where they fish. Grats to all that took part & helped to raise the money for a great cause! I wish I could of been there too!

Congratulations to everyone that participated. I did not compete but I was at part of the weigh in and thought the weights were very impressive. I have a great appreciation for the people that have the ability to catch weights like that under a competitive situation!
The winners were Tony Niemeyer from Gardner & Jeremy Herring from La Cygne. They started by fishing in the Hillsdale Thursday Night tourny's a few years ago and have done very well fishing tournaments the last couple of years.
Good Job guys and I will see you at Clinton again this weekend.
Graham
The names of the first place guys was Jeremy Herring & Tony Niemeyer. What a turn out almost 40 boats good time and looking forward to next year.
what was the rumor about a 16"+ crappie only weighing 1.4 pounds?
Shane you fishing with Jim Bybee? I meet Jim for about 15 years ago now, haven't seen him in forever (since there aren't any big crappie tournaments in Kansas anymore). Jim is one heck of a jig fisherman by the way….
Who are these guys...I talked to them at the weigh in. The taller one was pretty cool but the fat one is pretty cocky
As for the fat one that's me don't remember being cocky might have been happy that I had a good day and won, but some people can be sore losers, sorry if I came across cocky as I don't know you make sure to introduce your self Sunday at the tournament.
I will do that dead duck I'll talk to you at the weigh in..please don't be cocky this time...it make you and your partner look bad
Looking forward to meeting you see you there.
congrats deadduck on the win. great job, and great job donating part of the winnings back by you, as well as 2nd and 3rd places.. next year guys
who wants to take odds that crappiecatcherkevin never introduces himself or reveals his true identity. Easy for someone to hide behind a handle on the internet.
I think he is jacking around....I hope he is-
oh come now boys we all know That I have the biggest ego arround here and I'm with labs(wont show) . I'll put my money on the tall one and the fat one any day of the week. See you guys in the morning
Thanks birddog dog but you know a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while. There are many good teams at the tournament good luck to all.
