My dad and I just got the phone call his cancer has returned. We will be going in for a biopsy in the next couple of days, waiting on the call to know when for sure. He has already had half of his lung removed, and been thru chemo and radiation, and we were warned if the same cancer returned, that further treatment would be futile. Please keep him in your prayers that this is a different cancer, and that God will help him deal with this blow, he is pretty devastated.

So sorry to here this Barbie. Daddy's hold a special place in their daughter's hearts. I lost my dad about 6 months ago. So I can imagine what you are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!!!
I want to thank everyone, I sat down with my daddy n had him read every comment, and he wanted me to tell y'all thank you, and he hopes he gets to meet y'all one day. And spiderwoman, u are correct. He is the only parent I have ever had, and even though we knew this day was coming, we had just hoped it would be way far in the future. I am very sorry about your dad, and again I appreciate everyone's prayers. Please just keep him in your thoughts, and with the Lord's blessing, we will get through this.
