Pop Sealant

I know that theres a love hate relationship with pop but, I'm trying to make some neat 2 part molds. I've seen people used modge podge, superglue, elmers, and powderpaint and was wondering if there was a product in a spray can that I could use. I was thinking about a clear coat spray or something of that sort.

we recommend using vinyl paint on poppers you can buy in spray cans through your catalogs or component fishing catalogs will usually carry vinyl paint in spray cans you can get a airbrush and mixed up your old vinyl paint and spray it this way also only if you are in the business of making them to sell I do not recommend airbrush for one or two poppers good luck I hope that you will post some pictures of your poppers.

Will the vinyl paint peel of after awhile and will it react with the heat of plastisol or
alumilite white because I will make pop molds for both soft plastics and hard baits

I've had no problem using vinyl paint with plastic baits vinyl paint should not peel there is something going on there I have never ever heard of this before and I've used gallons of the paint.

Correct me if I am wrong, but you are wanting to seal a pop (plaster of paris) mold correct? I think snake is talking about painting a popping bug type bait. Make sure the both of you are talking the same game.

To seal a plaster of Paris mold I use elmer's white glue mixed with water. Use an artist paint brush to brush it on.

you are right ship they do use Elmer's glue to seal plaster Paris sorry for my misunderstanding in the first place we A little bit of information to post here we just bought a oven for firing clay so we will give a shot at making hand poured molds in the future.

Ok I also heard that Elmer's wood glue works even better ill try both!

just plain old elmers school glue will work from what i have been told.
