You're kidding right?
OMG. Now that takes the cake. Anyone know a COE guys ;phone number? Call em up and get them to write a ticket. They write em for everything else.
Somebody should knock it out of gear. Lol
I've seen him park there before. It's an older guy who launches his boat and goes fishing. Leaves the truck right there. Guess he dont want to walk to the parking lot
Yep, almost every weekday morning, think he may commercial fish. He will be gone before long.
don't yall know nothing. That is his ramp. You should be happy he lets you use it at all. At least he put it on one side...
call the law
Every lake has their local guys that just does his thing, that ramp is wide enuff to launch 5 boats, leave the ole guy alone!!!!
Local or not, it's rude and inconsiderate.
So he was in the way, not. He'll be out of there before long, think if he were really bothering anything it wouldnt be let go. Too, his health aint real good, hope I will be able to fesh if my health fails me.
Not sayin he is doing right, but maybe the old guy just can't walk up the hill and back? He could even be a veteran than has given more for this coiuntry than any of us ever will? Just sayin, maybe we should all walk a mile in another man's shoes before we hang him is all. God's blessings to all of you that are fishing in the ultimate fishin hole down there!
<,"}//>{ Tim
maybe thats the handiecapped ramp.......might need that myself one day. I hope thats a long way off though.
Hey Scott, it would cause a REAL problem on yalls ramps, I dont like them things.
they don;t do it at barnett but they do back down to the ramp before they start taking off the straps and getting stuff out of the boat to put in the boat
Yall different than me, I would push it in the lake or unhook trailer and send it down the ramp.
Man, yall cold. I unloaded there 75 times last year and that truck and trailer werent in my way at all.
Wouldn't it be great if, that in a perfect world, there would be somebody willing to actually ask if they could help him. OR, maybe even offer a handicapped area, but that would open a bag of worms cause folks would abuse it. Don't know if there is a gentlemanly solution, but I know if I was there when he was doin his deal, I would like to think I would at least offer to help him. At least he didn't park it slap in the middle!!
Shoot, one of these days I might be as old as WB and need some help myself.
If there's not a crowd IMO it's OK but if alot of boats are trying to put in, he needs to move it
Rees, according to your logic, if it's ok for him then it should be ok for him and four of his buddies to do it. Where do you draw the line.
My grandfather fished for years with one leg. I don't ever remember him parking on the boat ramp. Matter of fact, I don't remember him using the handicap parking spot until he lost his second leg.
what ramp b dat
I do however believe there does need to be an easier solution for handicapped fisherman/woman....most of us are gonna need that at some point in our lives, def somethin to think about.
Yep hes like 80 or so and thats his handicap parking spot.
Being handicapped is not a license to do what u want when u want. If it was I would park on the ramp every time I went fishing. Neither is being old for all you Geezers, lol.

Just a Grenada thang. Been seeing him park there so long, makes me smile a little everytime I see it.
With my launching complications, engineers should let me do that
Why does he even pull it out of the water?
Let him enjoy his fishing.

Ok. Y'all win. Ain't like I said I was gonna whoop the old boy. I just called him a dumb arse. Maybe I ought to go back and invite him to the fish fry tomorrow night.
Y'all read this carefully before you blow up at me. I am NOT commenting on the gentleman's parking manners. I an addressing the use of the term "Veteran" as an excuse. I'm sorry, I am a 20 year veteran. I have a placard for my truck. Just because I'm a veteran doesn't give me the privilege to be rude. And I resent using it as an excuse. It is a privilege and honor to respect these vets.
OK....I have recieved several complaints about this thread. It has run its course and is going nowhere so I am closing it.
