If you left the races in they are toast now. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using Tapatalk
No I get new races with the bearings....pfffffffffttttttttt!!!
just checking on you cause I know how you gewbers are, lolRofl
I thought that's what "G" was short for ??? Gewber....
If you sandblasted the inside of the hub your races will be to small now and you will have problems with it.
No, its all good...
You did a good job and if you do have any problems with them I know norther tool had full set hubs bearing buddy , bearings races, studs , and hub on sale a few weeks back for 60 bucks each.
Put rubber tape on machined surfaces
Good job Dave....way to go
$60 is high... Go to etrailers.com
Bill told him how to do that, lol
Bill wanted me to buy a new trailer....
All right Gator you need to splain to me about this rubber tape, Always ready to learn somtin knew.
Looks good to me, hope it works.
Ok gator Im with ya now. I thought you were usin it for tighting up clearances
Wilbur, now that's funny...
Bill, I know you didn't , I was just kiddin.
time to put it all back together and get the boat wet again
Springs, spring hardware, bearings, and seals on order. Bill's got my bunk material (i got to go get it) I need to go to lowes and get 2x4 to make bunks. Would you use pressure treated or cypress .....??? And where do you get stainless steel staples???
I would use cypress if I could get it....the chemicals in pressure treated lumber can eat aluminum up .....Most around here just use plain untreated 2x4's. You could use galvanized roofing nails instead of staples.
There's a fastenal in southaven, right behind Napa on 51...just FYI....
nice job--keep notes for when "we" do mine:)
Had a guy tell me today that he can get the whole trailer sand plasted and powered coated for about $400.00 . A little much for my old bass tracker, but somthing for a ranger owner to think about....
Lol....well I'm with ya...
