T-250 Series T-Bars For Bass Boats With No Drilling Required

Hey rookie 40 I think youll find we like Hi-Tek or Tite Lok rod holders round these parts. I think Hi-Tek is better for spider rigging up front but Tite Loc is better for trolling off the rear of the boat because you have high arms on the rod holder to keep the rod in place thus not allowing a fish or snag to pull your rod out of the holder when trolling. So If all your going to do is spider rig I would go with Hi-Tek, but if you want to spider rig and troll go with Tite-Loc, Drift master is another popular brand to spider rig or troll with. Do you have a PIC of your T-250 T-Bars? I would like to see it and we might be of more help to you.
CP I havent pulled the trigger yet. I am gonna wait and see the recomendations from folks like you sir.
SON!!! LOL Those look good and functionable If you dont want to drill holes in your boat. Looks awkward to handle in boat and make sure it has good welds, Other than that it should work well. Now all you need is some double up front seating and I will be able to field test them with ya. LOL
I checked out the Hi-Tek and they are about half the cost so its lookin like some holes will be drilled.
And Ive always got an extra seat. lol
I have something similar. only homemade. I use galvanized iron pipe from Ace. Then I drilled holes in the cross pipe and threaded it and added driftmaster holders. Then You can make the bracket for the seat adapter pretty easy also if you can weld.
This is a pic of what I mentioned a few minutes ago.

Now that looks like it would hold a 30lb striper!! lol
You can't go wrong with the Hi Teks. I also use them in the back to longline and pull crankbaits with and have never had any problem with them whatsoever. I have never had a rod pulled out of the holders from getting hungup or anything else!
Hi-Tech are great out front, but you cant drag with em. Drift masters are your best bet. I use Peratzis, but you have to know somebody to get em - all custom work. Buy the best you can or you will end up with two rigs. There's no cheap way to do this right. Good luck and good fishing
If ur talkn bout perratti rod holders, grizzly jigs carries them
Rookie 40 if you go with Hi-Tek remember you will be dealing with a wrench all the time... to make adjustments, attach, and what not. Thats why i use Tite Loc no wrench needed and one less piece of equipment i haft to worry about.
i tried a few different kind over the years, now i settled on HI-TEC. they work great been using them a couple years now. you cant go wrong with them!!!!
I use hitek also
If your drag is set right most any rod holder will catch a 30 lb striper. I like the Hi-teks for spider rigging but since I already have some very similar to the Tite Loc holders I dont own any.....just going off the looks of 'em..
Check with Bill @ Big River Marine in West Memphis. He fixed me up with Hi-Tek and I like them! Did have to drill holes in my boat deck though, but the plate stays put wherever you mount it. It becomes part of the boat.
Thanks for the info guys. I typically chase other fish after the live cypress tree bite slows but thinking Im gonna change that this year and try this spider rigging thing.
those driftmasters shown on the red boat with the V up front are the "gunslinger" model I believe. Seems like i read a comment or two about the rod could "roll" out of the V if trolling with 'em if you get hung up. I have the driftmasters with the U shaped front and have been hung up NUMEROUS times, still have all my rods except for the one that broke.
