Anybody own an Okuma spinning reel?

These look pretty good for the price, but I'd like to hear some opinions. I'm also freaked out that the picture shows a right hand reel, and doesn't mention left/right. I want left

i have a tro 40s... its not a bad reel. but i like my abu garcia cardinals alot better... but thats like compairing apples and oranges

Chad, I don't knowabout that reel but a lot of the new spinnig reels are interchangeable right or left. You unscrew a knob on the opposite side pull the reel handle and shaft out....place in other side and screw the knob back on the other side.

Yeah most are, but I see several that still aren't. I'm skeirt.

So just switch hands whATS THE big deal.. It aint like you only got one

ive heard theyre not nearly what the trolling reels are. just heard. never fished one

I don't like the trolling reels, so we may have a serious prob

Do tell. You have this same model? Suggest them at that price?

i paid $30 for the av15a last summer at walmart . i have mainly used it for vertical jigging works great for the money . its smooth and the anti reverse works good
