ATM was just admitted into Baptist Desoto with acute appendicitis...not sure where we will end up... Still in the ER for now....but would appreciate some prayers. Normally, it is a simple surgery, but with his other issues.. nothing is ever simple. And if u happen to see me yelling and about to attack some poor person who works here, please intervene so I don't go to jail ;)

Thank u ES... I probably had just missed you, as I had to leave n get my temper under control... But they should be moving him to a room shortly. I'm glad to hear your dad is in step down and hopefully they will figure out what is going on with him. The nurses have been great so far, but the ER dr is an idiot... As usual. Luckily, we don't have to deal with him long as his nephrologist will be taking over, and of course the surgeon. If I can bring y'all anything let me know, I'll be here for the night, as they are planning to do surgery in a couple hours.Quote:

Update; surgery is postponed until 6:30am due to INR levels being too high. He will get a transfusion over night and they are giving him a pain med pump, so he should be comfortable through the night. The surgeon is a God send and wonderful, and after the disaster in the ER I am truly thankful. Thank y'all again for the prayers and offers to help, and I'll update y'all after surgery.
Give him his phone. I'd love to read his posts tonight!!!!! Lol
