I'm in
What is the point of aluminum boats only?
To give people with alum boats a chance to get to their favorite spots without being outran by screaming fast boats.
I got you. Why not a hp restriction? There are some guys with aluminum boats that will scream too.
A horsepower restriction would be fine.
Just want to get a few folks out and have fun.
I was all in, until the all aluminum and pony restrictions came into play. It ain't about who gets there first, it's about who can out smart those crafty bass. I have won just as many bass tournaments out of a aluminum boat as I have a glass boat.
Awwwww let the Glass boats play too, if getting to a spot is a concern allow to launch where they want. I dont think it's right to rule out a man just because his boat is bigger or faster. I have seen too many tourneys won by fisherman in a 16 foot bass tracker with a 25 horse on the back. It's not the boat... it's the fisherman inside it that counts. JMO...and im not even a fan of glass boats.
i hope yall keep all the bass yall catch and fertilize a garden some were cause thats about all their good for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dang Jerry you really got in for the green carp, dont ya? lol
Awwww, come on meatgetter, them ole bass out fight a crappie any day of the week, I don't eat bass personally, I practice catch and release, crappie are a lot more palitable table fare, but bass are a hoot to catch and it takes a certain amount of skill to catch them. The two toughest species to catch consistently is bass number one and then crappie. Crappie are even more palitable to bass, a bass will swim past 3 good blue gill to eat one crappie.
No Alabama rigs either!!:yikes
It would be fun though.
