Nice color combo and even better fish.
I'm thinking about converting the kitchen sink into a livewell...you know, for when I can't clean them until I've finished my other chores. I wouldn't actually convert it. It would be more like dual-use.
Anyone want to ask my wife if it would be okay?

This is for all my new friends on the DIY Plastics board and also my old friends like David, Keith and Bob. I thank you for your kind words and encouragement as I practice making soft plastic baits. Bob and Keith are very good mentors to follow for anyone trying to learn how to do this...and I thank them.
G..my wife said I had better get those freaking fish out of her kitchen sink and into the pan real quick and clean up the sink afterward. I guess when it warms up I will ne back to doing the fillet jobs outside on the deck again. :yikes
Jaxsprat that color combination has been around forever. I first saw it on the jig tying board about 3ight years back when I was learning to tie jigs. This is the first time I tried to combine the two colors in soft plastic. Up until about a week ago I only attempted shooting one color jigs because that was all I knew how to do. My mentors were patient and explained the two color process and these are the results. I will probably just do two colors from now on knowing the crappies will see one of them.
Chartreuseand will be my favorite. LOL :biggrin :biggrin
Chartreuse and Pink
Chartreuse and Aqua
Chartreuse and Black
Chartreuse and White
Chartreuse and Flo Orange

Mike.....you really ought to try the color combo that I got from Bob on the Baby Shad Stingers......Sweet potatoe and black. Everybody laughed when I ordered them.....but it turned out to be a top producer.

Post a photo David and we will see what happens.

I am out of them right now....look on Bob's site at his color chart....sweet potatoe is one of his standard colors. I fished half of mine up and gave the other half away as samples to fishermen on the lake trying to drum up some business for Bob.

I will mix up some red and yellow and come up with a yam type Orange color and pair it with chartreuse. Hmmm.

I'd rather buy em' than Tie em' but my fishing trips are getting scarce these days.
