Have you bought one or is this advertising?
All of the above is advertising.
Sweet. I see lots of potential for spider riggers, long liners and crankbaiters. (Hey, I fit that description!)
Now, if they'll just get right on the price.
I agree but if I heard right it's a 2,000.00 upgrade to your existing unit. Too much mulla for me.
It won the classic for KVD, but until it comes out in August, there's still a lot of unanswered questions. Looks interesting though. Seems to tombstone a lot of units, but so did the removable readout update.
Jealousy noted
KVD coulda won it with a Green Box.
Mike was trying to make a funny. Kevin didn't win the classic this year, but is a spokesman for the 360 and HB.
That KVD is awesome though. Me and my littlest one watched him fish for an hour or so last year on Wheeler. He was catching a bass on about every other cast. Only culled a couple, but I thought his catch ratio was pretty awesome.
Meh, Not so much. I know you'd want to portray it that way. If I owned and 1197, and knew I'd have to buy and 1198 and a 1500.00 360 device that is the size of a talon, I'd be ticked. I guess that's where already having a long established nmea2k/and or ethernet program is a win. You saw the roundabout answers to my question about offset on BBC, and it still hasn't been answered, I mean really answered. That is a big deal. I don't think doug knows what I was really asking, and I know t-mike has no clue. I won't spoil Kosmo's press conference here with the details. People can go and look at BBC and see the convo, and kosmo's grown-up responses. :yikes
While it looks cool, there is still a ton of unkowns about the true usefulness. I think it's a cool idea. Is it something you can't live without, I don't know. Time will tell. I appreciate your new "friendly" composer, and I'll certainly keep the peace with you. Any advance from either brand should only be a catalyst for me change from all brands, so it's good. Every update, every new unit.
BBC? Like in London?
Anybody ever say how tall that thang is? Ima guessing 5 foot at least. Man, that will look funny on my little 18 foot aluminum boat. Folks will think I got one of them talon power pole thangys.
Don't think I'll be interested in putting out that kind of money....at least not yet. With the way technology is changing things, by the time you make a big investment like that, something new comes out. I'll give it a while and wait and see. My boat is equipped with SI, DI, more GPS's than I can count, Terrova I-pilot and everything else. But sometimes I pretty much turn it all off and just go fishing. That's sooooo nice!
Man, I'd have to buy an insurance policy on that dude....the way I hook under water logs, I can see that thing getting damaged within about 5 min....
heres a kool 360 snapshot
Kosmo, is that white line the Ascope raster?
I thought we were discussing rotational sonar. I very well understand how radar works.
i dont no thats what came up when i googled it.
kogsmo, do you have anry screenshots where your moving 1-4MPH with your 365 imaging unit? might make the swirtch, just want to see a user generated screen shot. TIA.
