Got a question. How do you carry extra rods, tackle, minners and something to drink/eat?
No extra rods, no minners, tackle in the front pouch, dont eat while u fish. any more questions?
and no vodka, lol
Walk into the wind not with it. Stick jigs on your hat and leave the minner bucket home. Shove a couple of baloney sammiches down in your waders will be warm when you take them out. Tie stringer to your belt and watch out for snakes following your stringer. Also slide your feet on bottom so you don't step off in a beaver run and go swimming.
What bigger said.
you're out there for 4 or 5 hours? What about it their not in shallow like you thought they were and you want an extra rod with a cork and some minners so you can cast out aways? Rees knows where I'm going with this LOL
You can't go 4 or 5 hours without eatin'? Boat should be close by anyway.
want some drinks with me anyhow. Not necessarily food. I'm thinking more in the line of not taking the boat and how I'd totew everything around. Don't worry PICS ARE COMING LOL

Yes, there is duct tape on this first run. What can I say, I was bored last night. The cooler was to tall and I didn't wanting it flipping over due to being top heavy so i cut off about 5-6 inches of the middle, then glued it and taped it for strength. IF it works out Saturday, Ima use some bigger blocks of Styrofoam and cut it where I can fit the cooler down in it. then add some actual rod holder inserts. Coat it in that spray on bedliner in the can and it should be just right
In my younger days and did that i had a inner tube and a wash tub had a rope around my waist,in case i stepped in a hole.
Jim, I'm just thinking about MY LUCK and not catching them fast. I know I'm stuborn and will stay for hours on end but want a way to tote things. I had one of them boogie boards at the house from a beach trip and figured it'd work
Don't forget the pictures. This is gonna be good.
good luck dragging that contraption in bee around all the logs and brush
green cup in one hand, jig pole in the other...........what else ya need?
So Bees not like Washington Duck? Washington's pretty open in the trees
OMG got to be a DD original, never seen that much duct tape on styrofoam. lmao
had to have a way to hold the tiedown rope onto the cooler Torch. LOL
DD hope it does what you want it to do but that just looks like a lot of work and one h$)( of a snake attracter.
Looks a little top heavy Bro. How ya gunna keep it from flipping over?
Quite Speck, we're working on some classic 2013 calendar pics here. lol
Dd you are truly a duct tape craftsman. Hat off to ya bud.
Haha I like it dondon.....might just make me one!
I cut the cooler height by 5 or 6 inches and it's already HOT TUB TESTING. I put it in the hot tub past night and did what I wanna do to a few idgets on here from time to time. I smacked it around some. LOL It didn't turn over. Think as long as I only put a couple bottles of water in it, it'll be OK OK now Yikes, I got yo number now Bro. Just wauit to you to the Yiikes Shuffle on the water again. I'll have the camera ready to go. LMBO
It looks like we are going to have another famous person on here, lmao Maybe Yikess can do a Hall of Fame calendar, lol
If you actually use waders instead of cutoffs you're a ........

DD,
You are gonna need the cheap aluminum framed dip net and an old broom handle. Cut off the old broom handle and insert into handle of dip net. Tada you have just created a wading dip net. This serves 2 purposes, one is to dip net the fish you catch, the other is a bottom probe so you can test the bottom for depth, and to see if you are stepping in some kind of super soft silt. Also, since the handle is wood it will float when you drop it.
The drink thing will not be an issue. If you start getting hot and thirsty, the water is too warm for them to be in there, might as well go back to the boat and find some cooler water.
You forgot the most important thing you need to carry and keep dry. Some blue towels. It never seems to fail, get settled in and nature calls. And when nature calls you GOTTA ANSWER THE PHONE!!
Attachment 83140 this is more dd's style !
this thread is gonna be a classic..............might have to make it a sticky, lol.
Boy sticksteer i like that contraption hahahahaha!
