Lots of storm damage in Branson, Bennett Springs State Park, Lebanon, and south of Buffalo, MO. I was on the phone with one of my friends south of Buffalo this morning at 12:15 am and his home got damaged. Been on the phone with him this morning waiting for daylight so he can see what he needs so I can run to Lowes here in Springfield and take it to him. All the power is out in Buffalo.
We have several members from the Branson area and from Buffalo also. Hope everyone is ok after the storms. Looks like some rough stuff from pics on the news. 1 dead and several hurt.
I hope it missed Kit Papermouth and Jcathemporter down in tablerock. Also glad to hear that it missed Skeeter in lebanon. It wasn't too bad in our area. We will know more as the day goes on. Sounds like another batch is coming friday also.
Branson on or around Hwy 76 looks like a war zone! Hwy 76 will be closed for at least 24 hours per news reports.
Ya Kit and Shockley were the first two that came to mind when I heard it. Not sure if Barndog is still in the Branson area or not. Bad deal for sure. If anyone needs anything let us know.
It pretty much missed us. The radio was telling folks to stay out of the northern third of Cape County this morning. Tornado touched down around Oak Ridge and tore up a bunch of stuff before jumping the river into Illinois. Hope everyone is OK.
Thanks for the heads up this morning Smitty.
good luck to everyone in the storm areas
Everything is fine at our house - it hit about four miles south of us. Doesn't sound very good, one dead, several injured and several places destroyed. Going to see what help we can give.
Also had some equipment setting in Lebanon where the storms went through, news crew said it was pretty bad - going to go check it out today.
Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
Brad
Glad all is well with you Brad. Hope every thing turns out all right with the equipment. Thanks for the update.
Tracker Marine may be having a sell soon, lots of boats damaged. Lowe's here as well is damaged, not sure what else.
From what it looks like on TV you might be able to get boat parts in the middle of I-44 right now.
Not now, its almost all cleaned up. But boats stacked on top of boats stacked ontop of boats, upside down, sideways, and straight up. Tore the sign off of the building facing I-44 as well. West bound lanes are open, but only one East bound lane.
Thanks Skeeter sister in law headed up that way shortly headed home to Jefferson City!
Kimberling Inn at Table Rock has been damaged, canceled the FLW Everstart Tournament there for this weekend. Best of luck Shockley hope all is ok.
Just heard of 1 confirmed dead in Stoddard County and 10 dead in Harrisburg, Ill
another early start to the storm season. I hope ya'all who were effected by this storm are ok. I never heard a thing, I am a heavy sleeper. those weather radios are on sale at orchlens right now for around 20$, I think I will invest in one.
Thats cheap! I pay $1.99 or $2.99 per month for my cell phone to have weather on it! I get texts from the NWS when there is a warning or watch in what ever area I set it for. Since I travel so much I hate programing weather radios. Cell phone allows me to have presets.
We are fine in Reeds Spring.
Tornado was on the other side of the hill from my Mom and Dad's place down in Kimberling City.
Prayers up for some of our friends down here fellas. There some pretty extensive property damage.
Glad Branson it's fired up for the season.
G.

Some pics of Kimberling Inn where the FLW bass tourney was to be held. Bad deal....
Terrible news out of Harveyville, A guys house lifted up and landed on his legs and killed him, and his wife was there with him. Stuff can always be replaced, life is precious.
I just got my internet back last night. Was without power for three days. Hit up the road about three miles and took out several houses and all the power poles for about 1000'
We had a generator running for most of the time to keep the freezers going and lights on.
Glad to hear you're OK Faadan!
