Duragloss Alumium wheel cleaner part 851 spray on and rinse off.
Torch, will it get sapp as well and where leaves have been on it
Not if sure if your boat is painted. If not you may try a brillo pad or try alumi-gel. Good luck
If it is bare aluminum it will get anything off. Contains acid.
It will not take off your decals but it gets most everything else off!
I bought a gallon of stuff from Napa ...yellow looking concentrate stuff...tried it on small area near ransom....cleaned heck out of it but turned it white as snow! Dang it! Sprayed it on and less than 30 seconds I hosed it off. Hope I can buff it with rubbing compound and get it back aluminum.
My boat isn't painted...just bare aluminum.

I don't remember the name of the stuff I used but I got it a BPS and it worked very well.
I've always had good luck with Toon-Brite on my boats. Hasn't turned one white yet.
Thanks for the info fellas!

I got a little white streaking from the wheel cleaner i bought a wally world ( contiained hydrocloric acid ) but all n alll very happy with the results, bought the boat in 08 and this is the first time the aluminum has been cleaned, thought the water stain was permanant, it was almost black. Sprayed the wheel cleaner on and it washaed right off with the hose ( no elbow grease required ). it was Eagle 1 chrome wheel cleaner.

awesome at the $ store fer a $ works GREAT
Just saw a guy on Face Novel that polished his older Tracker TX 17 with Maguires aluminum wheel polish and that thing looks like a mirror. He did have to polish it, but zero white coloring. That boat wasn't that shiny new!!!

Anybody every tried purple power?
Alumibright and water 50/50 mix. Strips it to bare metal in seconds. Spray on with pump garden sprayer rinse off with pressure washer. Apply aluminum wax polish let dry and buff out with buffer wheel. Mirror finish just like the tank on a big truck. After that keep it clean no more acid if so repeat polish. It oxidizes the bare metal "turns it white" ready for polish then. By the way fish don't mind the mirror polish either. Just saying before that question pops up.
BRM hit the nail on the head. Mother's aluminum polish works like a charm. Takes a good bit of time, but well worth the effort. I did my Bass Tracker several years ago. I had the only chrome Tracker at the Rez. Lasted a LONG time, too.
