NICE!!! Those are some better fish than I have been seeing come out of the river in the last couple weeks.
Anybody else catch much?
Those are some real good ones. You are giving me the fever.
Good catch
WOW! Those are a couple good fish, I catch them around here about half that size as a regular.
I fish the Falls of the Ohio and haven't caught that quality of fish all year.
I did not weigh them but I think they were close to 3 lbs. Biggest we have ever caught.
They could be saugeye that may explain why they are so big.
We went thursday and had 13 over 12 inches. Biggest was 21 1/2 inches and weighed 3lbs. and another that was 19 1/2 and weighed over 2lb. There was only one other boat and they had 10. I want to get back there on Sat.
Dandy sauger man! Makes me wanna get out and give it a shot but i always catch the river in bad shape this time of yr (muddy or too high etc.) if i havent been recently. Those look like 4 lbers! Theyll taste great thats for sure. Nice mess bud and thanks for the report! I would hit em from the bank but id say the construction on the dam has that buggered up, hate to haul the boat n turn around n come right home.
Headed there in the morning. It's going to be 24'-25'. I don't know if we'll do any good or not.
That's where I was headed but with rise and projection of river think I will pass. Never done much good when its 24-25. Raising about 2-3 feet a day.
Ended up with 16 keepers over 12". Missed a bunch. All in all it was a good day on the river. There was about 20 boats up there.
Man those are some fish to be proud of!
