Know they have a restaurant downtown that serves burgers but that's bout it, ain't it?
It's worth the run to Greenville, but there's a pretty good little place on Hwy 1 below Glenn Allen that has a varied menu. They have steaks, fish, burgers and cold beer. They haven't been open all that long.
Cicero's in Leland!!!
Is Cicero's a decent priced place?
WOWWW, just went to Cicero's website and way to fancy Lunch And Dinner Stoneville, MS ( Mississippi ) bet it'd cost me and nessa over $100 to eat there
My buddy onws it. Its not a expensive place to eat. There are several rooms that will hold your group.
I was thinking of grilling a bunch of wangs, but with the birthing of my niece that morning, I'm not sure what time I'll make it down there. Def not going to if I'm running late
Hugh looked at their website and it just looked fancy. I don;t wan to have to go fix my hair and put on non fish smelling clothes LMBO just tossing out idears and see what everyone wants to do. Anyone heard of Maries Place in Hollandale?
It’s not fancy at all but has very good food. Just ask Torch I'm sure he has eaten there. It’s a family owned restaurant. They have everything from steak/seafood/burgers. It’s known for its Philly! No need to dress up.
Why do I even try!!!!
BTW, speaking of food. Torch, how's the food here? Country Platter Restaurant in Cleveland. all the reviews I fount are awesome home cooking
Go to Doe's in Greenville, send the tab to Wb.
Sounding better hugh, just looking at the pics it kinda looked all fancy
There is an Italian joint just off the highway at leland I think, Vanettis or sumpin like that, it is reasonable and pretty good.
Morris and I went to a place in Greenville and it was WONDERFUL. I can never remember the name but maybe Deb will see this and ask him.
Debs gone too I think
Poescai's is the best restaurant in Greenville.
Posecai's.
Pasquali's, lilo's, cisero's, all good. Fat babies if you want fish.

There's Bart's (hunting club?)in hollandale. Good food and not high prices. He can seat a large group. It's kinda like a sports bar but not full of drunks if that makes sense. Me and the wife plan on going there Friday night. Anyone is welcome to join.
Also where are y'all staying ? And is anyone making a weekend out of it?
Yes. Me and my wife will be fishing with y'all. I'll be up there Wednesday night but staying in delta
City. My wife is coming up Friday evening. We got a cabin at Roy's for Friday and Saturday night.
Look forward to meeting everyone also. Don't think I know anyone on this site yet. Seen y'all then
Got a text from Morris. The place we ate was Sherman's.
Here is their web address: Sherman's Restaurant
There are no prices listed but Charles Sherman is mailing a menu to me with the prices today.
Thanks Morris
I've eaten at Shermans a few times. Good food.
I mentioned it earlier but Bart's hunting club in hollandale will have crawfish Friday night. They got a good steak too for those that don't eat'em.
Sherman's in Greenville is good ....I ate there about two weeks ago. Or, you might split one of those 2 1/2 lb t-bones at doe's......
Someone needs to make an executive decision. Hopefully something on the cheap. I've already blown my traveling fishing budget for the month.
I'm fine with just eating a burger downtown
About 5 miles south of baits n thangs on #1 is a little place called Farmers Grocery. Stopped in there today. They have lots of good stuff on the menu. we're going to try them tonight!
kewl, that may be where we ate last year. if it is they got some good burgers
They got everything from burgers to steaks and seafood. Said they were having a seafood buffet one night.
