Orange head, black body, chartruce tail. #3 Meatgetter. Also Bobby Garland slab slayer bone and chartruce on a white head. And I always use blue and white. Everybody should know that # by now

as long as it has a chartreuse or yellow tail, I'm good to go.

Anything dark with chartruse in a bulky size. I use purple/chartruse in all water conditions.

I don't fish murky water.

Nimrod, where do you get your Purple/Chartruese jigs? I was gonna try some out, but I haven't found any at the places I normally shop.

I almost always fish the mud, even when there is clear water near by. Chartreuse head, black body, chartreuse curly tail. Chartreuse pony heads with bronze/copper blades are even better, the more action on the bait the better. JD green works sometimes too, but the black/char. never goes unnoticed.

Black/Chart always seems to be the go to color for most folks on this lake. I like Pink/Chart. but will try other colors. Anything I use will usually have Chart. in it.

Well, I like Orange and Chartruse,,in clear, stained and dingy water..if its muddy,,I work on my equipment.

If it's raining you hide in your shop too. A little rain proably won't stop me. Right now my rear boat seat ain't reserved in the morning.

I agree 100% here, I think it's the combo of a dark body with a bright head and tail. I think the brights show up well and the dark's do too in dark water.

Papadave, do you fish structure with that same setup or are you trolling? On the muddy water topic, I go to work & wait for it to clear up!
