Last month they were catching them fishing 5 -6 ft. deep in 12 ft. of water........but thats more than likely changed some by now.
What do think its like know?
Alex, the fish are quite scattered on the main lake. They can be caught from 3' deep in 8' water to 15' deep in 25' water. It's different every day, you just have to fish and figure it out. That is half the fun of fishing! When spider rigging, set your baits at different depths and let the fish "tell" you what to do. When you get a couple bites at a certain depth, match your other poles to it.
Oh, and go very slow! Most people fish way too fast.
alright thank you.im going to run double minnow rigs an jigs tiped with minnows.how is engineer point is it shallow?
There are shallow and deep places everywhere on the lake. If you don't have a depth finder or a GPS map, follow the advise from your other thread, go where the majority of the other boats are and fish there.
can i put in at engineer point an how deep is it?
Engineers is the only ramp you can put in now.
and drive the boat slow if you do not know the lake or you will find yourself stuck on a flat before you know whats happining
ok thank you!
Alex, you say you are 15 years old...Shouldn't you be in school?
