Just installed my new i-pilot motor on my new boat. The new remote is WAAAAAY mo better!
Yea thanks for rubbing it in now I am going to have to go spend $450 on a new ipilot so I can have to new easy to read remote.
Well I haven't priced just the remotes but I can assure you it's more than I want to spend but some how I am sure I will have to get it.
Never hurts to have a back up. I think a remote is about $140.
feelay, a seasoned veteran like you should know better.
Without pics it didn't happen!
Technologically disadvantaged
The new I pilot stores 6 recorded paths instead of 3, 6 spot lock locations instead of 3, has white lettering on the remote and has a very slightly bigger screen. Other than that its just a more expensive unit. I have the original I pilot and have no problem with it. you should be able to order a new remote, check on ebay, there is sometimes some good deals there. But remember the new I pilot just came out.

I heard the new remote had softer buttons. I hope so, because at the end of the day with the old one, my fingers are raw.
I've only got the co-pilot, how much to get me up to speed?
$450
not to bad. have to save up and get it all sometimes before cranks get hot
I looked at them side by side at BPS and the screen looks a lot bigger i know it isn't but it looks that way and the buttons are WAY more visible.
Like Feelay said an extra is all ways a good idea that way if one goes swimming you can still fish or if the batt dies your not disassembling your remote on the lake.
Thats one sweet fishing rig you got there Feelay, Might have to take a guided trip with ya just to fish out of that boat.
If my phone don't start ringing, I might have to sell it to ya!
I'll bid $12,000 subject to you getting the brakes working right.
Wannabe...
Throw in the Basscat with all the trimmings and one of those ATV's you bought and we may have a deal.

Talked to BRM bout the same thing 2 days ago... Looking for a quick disconnect to go between my Maxxum and the terrova... I was told to talk to Ez bout it.. My be easier than having 2 trolling motors on boat
You would have to modify a quick release bracket, but it can probably be done. Definitely could mount one on the other side.
The new trolling motor is looking good Feelay !!!
Ok so did a little looking and the new remotes are $159.99 at BPS.

You can find them cheaper online.
Does any one know if you can have two remotes programmed to a terrova at the same time?
