I can suffer thru some rain for a morning like that. Congrats on the catch. You are a fishing machine. I'll be glad when I get to that stage in life.
Nice catch how water temp and depht
Now that'll stink up that new carpet pretty good!! Congrats on a nice limit! Hope you had some good raingear! I'm still confined to the house with the crud (had it a week now) or I'd be over there. Looks like the water is about right. Congrats again on a nice mess of dandies! :highfive
You don't have to use the "L" word for me! I figure if you went, you done it!! Thumbs Up
Nice catch Nimrod!
I'd get wet for that. Nice mess
Yep,,we don't want to get the conservationists going, that being said, you sure got a nice "helping" of fishes there young man. I think I made a wise choice this morning...but then,,there is TOMORROW!!! lol I've been cold all day,,hoping my youth with fight of any bugs thats going around..lol
thats get'n'r'done
hey nimblerod you ain't rite fishin this kind of weather, wish I was closer, LOL
Those are some nice ones Nimrod! Those are the days that make up for the occasional sufferin a Crappie fisherman has to put up with! A little rain don't hurt nothin'. Them fish ain't gonna get any wetter!
Another nice mess of crappie. The bass are fun to catch on a jig pole aren't they?
Rain I don't mind but I sure hate the cold and wind. Nice catch.
your what will fight off bugs?
Well I wanted to make it up that way as soon as the water came down and I could learn the lake better, these Hot Springs area lakes aren't much. I've gotta hit the road early next week till mid March or so and was wanting to find some fish before then.
Today's Greeson trip got postponed due to rain and my buddy had to work. If i'd known where to catch em I'd have went myself. Good catch though.
Rain, sleet, snow, or hail, nothing stops a diehard fisherman. Unless he just don't wanna go.
If I was off, I'd be heading west with the pedal to the metal tomorrow.
Good catch again Nimrod.
Do they make a drooling smiley?

I'm beginning to feel like the 5-W man, you know, Worlds Worst Whimpy Whiney Wuss.......But I'm fishing tomorrow!!!

As bad as I got that last post screwed up, you'd think I might be old and senile too..lol Dangit. I tryed to straighten it out..lol
I thought it was some kind of secret code about a hot fishing spot. If you wouldn't have made the second post, I'da spent all night trying to decipher it.:biggrin
And don't be trying to claim all 5 w's. I'm the sole owner of at least 2 of em...rotfl
Nice nimrod!
Congrats i thought i was the only goofball for going. Nice catch. I have picked up that there are some sensitive people who dont like us to use the L word. I use nice box now or just show a few lol.
Gosh you guys are making me sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good job
Keep catching them limits that gives us newbes (wanttobe) crappie fishermen to look up to.That what I joined this site and I learn from your posts and others and maybe I can apply this tech to my lake or stream I am fishing, how deep, what color, what size line, rain, sunshine, snow.I look forward to reading your post.Heers to 100 limits!!!!!
Nice bunch of specs, even the green one is looking good.
Thanks , I took Supergooser today and they wore us out! I caught my 9th straight Nimrod Lake limit. We culled a bunch of 10'' to 11'' Crappie. He took home our double limit of nice fat Crappie. We caught most on my '' Nimrod Special ''. Do you make jigs? I use umbrella tubes with 1/8 oz roundheaded jigheads pushed inside of tube with a swivel in line up about 2' to avoid twist. I tightline or drag jigs never cast or spiderrig.
I have a great crappie friend in batesville were we live he is trying to teach me how to tye and paint he is a PRO at tying and catching has done it all his life started tying suggest that I start a web site not very good with comp.My wife is the computer and has set the web site up for us a long answer to your question yes we try to make our own baits leadheads of all kinds jigs, ponyheads make the tube jigs, tye jigs of all types crappie, white bass, hybrid striper. We like the minnow heads.I am learning on my home waters not quite got the movements of the crappie yet catch them one trip gone the next had a streak of 13 limits in a row have pic's.When i get alittle more knowledge would like to try other lakes.Love to fish Dardanelle. Have good friends that live their and fish it alot.Just got a jig pole today ready to try it thanks for all the advise.
