They caught me :) I am going to try a copy them when I get home from work.

I have not got to try them yet since my boat is still hanging in it's slings, stuck there since Sept. 2010. I did get to fish a lot with friends last year and will again this year if I don't either get it out or the water doesn't come up enough! I do believe each of these will catch a lot of fish especially in stained water. Will get the guy that got these to tell me what he does with them.

Thank you guys, I do appreciate the complements for sure! Orded this chenille several months back and on the Fire Tiger colored ones I couldn't figure out which I liked best so bought both, LOL! The othe mixed color ones I am calling my new Electric Chicken jigs. Then the last one is just FL Ref with Silver Tinsel!

Skip the last two picture are the jig I really like. Don't do much in 1/4 oz. but they look neat. 1/8 oz. is about as big as I tie any more. Maybe we are making a mistake by not trying to fish some of the bigger jigs this time of year. Nicely Done .

Thanks Redman I appreciate that!
Well the guy I made these for uses a double drop with a smaller jig on top I think. I have used this size especially in the wind when the fish are in say 7-15 feet water depth and I troll them right beside me so the wind doesn't bother it as much! I made most of his in other favorites of mine, chart/Blue/Chart and my Christmas jig which he's been using in this size. I think I made him over 100, maybe 120 or so and only 12 were 1/16.
Si when your fishing in the wind especially a 1/4. Oz can make a difference because it's easier to keep
I'm contact with the feel.

As always, top notch stuff. I call em Thumpers 1/4 oz and over. Had to use a few this year for the wind, fish didn't mind the size. They simplify things in bad conditions. Real good paint.

Thanks SM, I appreciate that!

Love those top two photos!

The Pro at work!!!! hope I can get close to that someday!!!!

They look great! Crazy, the different sizes that work for crappie. You've inspired me to use so heavier jigs if I can ever get on the water. Redman, I sent you a PM.
-
Those are great river jigs. The colors are right and the weight is perfect for fishing the current break where the brush piles up in the bayou mouths. Actually anywhere that has flow and you can't keep your jig straight up n down.
Nice jigs.

Thanks guys, appreciate the kind comments! crappie addict they work I promise they do so yes you should give them a shot especially when the winds are up. You will be able to keep contact with the feel of your jig. You never know how many bites you don't feel when that wind has a little bow in your line. Also like I use them sometime, trolling with the troll motor and again the wind is up and very hard to drag a jig behind you that is light and not have a bow in your line, but with something like this you can have it right next to you badly angling back and catch crappie.
