heck of a deal.

Just came across the deal of the century. If you go to fishingreelsplus.com then click on ultralight spinning reels they have SouthBend reels on sale. I already have two of the 4ball bearing Southbend reels and really like them. I was searching google for some to order and I came across this. The 4ball bearing ones are $8.62 and the 2bb ones are $6.55. THIS IS A STEAL!!!!! I paid $20.00 for my 4bb from Academy. I ordered 12 of the 2bb ones to put on my new spiderrigging rods i just got in the mail and the total was under $90.00.

Great find SYG, if I was needing some I would get some for sure. Best I have found is the Shimano IX1000 at BPS for $12.00

They are good reels. I have about 6 diff types reels and the SouthBend is the smoothest by far. I was googling them and figured on buying 8 @ $20.00 a piece and to my suprise i find em for under $7.00 so i got 12.

Now thats a good purchase, especially if you have used them before and know how
they work and feel.......................
Its always good feeling to have same of everything when using multi rods for purpose.
All my spider riggin equipment is the shakespeare SS25's and i slowly moving my
long line equipment to Pflueger 4410's.

Were you able to contract Bass Pro and get the correct number chip for your
Lowrance.?

no, they werent very helpful. Im calling Navioncs tomorrow.

Really soory to hear that.........most generaly they are pretty good at atempting

Hey SYG and Yelim, I just called Fishingreelsplus .com about the shipping charge ,shipping is suppose to be free on reels , the owner called me back , said there is a problem with the web site , none of the orders went threw, give him a call he will explain RR.

Ordered 6 and recd. confirmation #. Ordered Tuesday night.
If anyone hears anything keep us posted.

Just got off the telly with mr. Haney of Fishingreelsplus .com and he said the sight is straightened out and should process orders tomarrow. He said he had 7 orders and the ones that aren't processed he will contact them to see if they still want to order.

He was just trying to get his site up and running. When SYG found the site it was in test mode. Mr. Haney worried he would lose the orders because of non responce. I told him I would wait till he got it corrected which he said he did. He is pleasantly suprised at the amount of orders he has gotten. 7 orders as of last night. SYG it's all your fault. If you don't get your 12, you can have my 6 and I will wait in line. You were first. Thanks for posting the first time.

Thanks fellas but I think he has a lot. I just talked to him and he said the reels would be in the mail no later than Monday, maybe even today. He also said that if the is a particular reel that we wanted to tell him and he will try and find it at the warehouse he buys from.

I emailed them Sat. to confirm my order but still have not heard anything or not seen activity in my account. Anyone else heard anything?

No i havnt heard anything either. I tried calling back yesterday and couldnt get ahold of him. If i dont hear something by the end of the day i am canceling my order. I have brand new rods i bought to spiderrig with sitting in my garage with no reels to put on them. Thought these would have been in last week, instead its turned into a major headache.

Just talked to him and he is still working on getting it done. He said today. Runaround????

Just talked to the guy. Said he was working with distributer and
hoped to get them shipped today. Said that there would not be a shipping charge
and we would be reimbursed.

Don't know about this deal. If not shipped by tomorrow I will cancel order.

yeah same here, just talked to the guy and he promised that it would be fixed today. I told him if its not fixed by today im going with another company. He assured me the problem would be corrected. He just started the site and seems like hes not sure whats going on.

yeah he just sent me the same email but said he was going to honor the price that he gave me the first time though. But his email was still very confusing and not really sure what he was saying. I sent him one back and asked him to please send me back a email and break it down "dummy style" for me so i know exactly what he is trying to get across. This is my last effort at the reels. I dont mind a little trouble if they are so cheap but i cant keep waiting on em, I got fish to catch, lol!!

Recieved phone call ,said web site was up and running and the price first listed was his cost , web site now has the correct listing $ 14.99 , I pass. RR

even misspelled haven't seen the site yet.
