OK, finally going to start up another contest. I will be giving away at least three of these:

The contest will be a simple "Best Photo" contest. The only catch is, the picture must contain a "Road Runner Logo" or a "BnM logo" or a "Crappie.com Logo" readily visible some where in the picture.

Please PM me your address for a Crappie.com logo if you need one. I'm waiting for a new batch of decals to come in so it'll likely take 2 weeks to send them out.

Post your pictures in this thread. The contest will run through the end of March 2012.

My family will judge the photos the first week of April, and the results will be announced shortly thereafter.

Question.......is this the best fishing photo with one of the three logos displayed or a truly awesome any theme or subject photo with one of the three logos displayed? How far can one go with artistic creativity?

Any theme/subject you like, as long as one of those logo's are included in the photo. And the more "truly awesome", the better.

Photoshop is OK, but I'd have to say that "real" might have a better chance of winning, unless the photo shopped one was "truly awesome" like Shipahoy41 says. So kinda, anything goes as long as the decal/logo's are displayed, but don't forget, it is a "best" photo contest.

How about this photo. Notice the logo on this guy's hat! Is that the size of his bait? I know there are some huge 8 pound fish at Guntersville.

Hmm, I may have to limit the number of entries per member, especially if I'm going to be seeing pictures of me included! Who knows, maybe entering pictures of me will cause an automatic disqualification. Just ain't right to post such ugly pictures. Just sayin. lol

I'm removing the pictures that are not appropriate for a "family friendly" site. I see this going in the wrong direction. Sorry.

Simply slapping on one of the logo's onto a normal/average picture is not going to win it, I can guarantee that.

I was not originally opposed to it, I actually left it there for a while, but I just thought it would lead this thread into a non "family friendly" direction. I think you'd have to agree that it was heading that way.

While on that topic, I thought I'd share this little note I received from a member after I removed the two bikini clad pictures:

"First I would like to commend you, for all your hard work and time that you have put into this site to make it fun, enjoyable, educational and most of all family fiendly. I was looking at the RoadRunner best picture contest forum and saw someone got upset over a picture being deleted. And the actions you took was very justifiable And respectful. I'm new to crappie.com but with a guy like you running the operations of this site it honestly made me so proud to be a member, an a part of this family. You have my full support. The contest has unlimited possibility, your only limited to your own imagination. I also believe it would of went down a wrong path i also think some would be more impressed with the girl than the creativity of the picture, and it's nice to have a good clean site that anyone in my family could look through without ne worrying, I thank you for that."

Slab...thats like saying we need to ban guns because someone COULD kill someone with one.....I disagree with it 100%, but its your site.

-However, I do understand you want the site to stay family friendly, and I DO like that. I dont have any kids, but I know a lot of people on here do and wouldnt want "adult" content showing up. But, once again, its just a woman....
