Anyone know what kind of oil to revive some old tube jigs. I bought some last fall that are dry, and have a few that I carried over, loose in Plano box. Thinking about olive oil. Can't use anything with petroleum.

Ask on the jig building forum where there are plastic molders.
Don't some of em use anis oil?

Tom Mann told me years ago at a show that he uses plain baby oil. Guess what I use.
replace them with meatgetters !!!! ha! ha! WD 40 works well steve!!!!!!!!!!
Pam i heard on jig forum and some says there is a worm oil cheap to. I asked same question on jig forum. There is several responses there

Well now I know, but I went ahead and put few drops of olive oil in plastic baggie, and throwed em in it, They may not last but lookin good for now.
Olive oil will help those fish you catch and release be more healthy. Those jigs may even be healthy and taste good to humans now.
I use anise oil, you can get it at most vitamin/health stores.
Use only mineral oil or baby oil. One drop per section in a Plano box compartment should do the trick! Been using it for years and has worked every time....
Save some old, used up fry oil...... show them what they are in for!! :highfive
