Just had Rend Lake crappie and fries, prime rib cooking in smoker for later.
sounds good Russell, What kind of smoker you got? I've got a master built electric, I know some people don't like them, but i don't have the time to sit and tend a wood fire. For example, while my ribs were smoking today I walked 5 miles then went to the gym for an hour then to the grocery store and to the nursing home to see my grandmother. There is no way you can leave a wood burner that long, with the master built you can set it and forget it.
Hirim Walker Blackberry Brandy and Old Milwaukee for desert.
It's one I built on a trailer, kinda like a David Klose style pit with 5' x 24" x 24" upright smoking chamber and 6' x 24" pipe 2 door horizontal cooking chamber with 24" x 24" fire box out of 1/2" plate. It's got 1/2" thick tuning plates inside the cooking chamber to keep the temp equalized from end to end and a log lighter and gas assist inside the firebox with twin 6" smokestacks on top of the upright smoker end. Had 30 briskets on it at one time at work last year. Those Masterbilts do a good job and are definitely convenient but you've got way too much energy, I'll post a picture of it when I get to my computer, for some reason the iPhone's not loading the picture.
WOW:yikesSounds like a cookin mochine. I don't understand (too much energy):dono
