Fried that's as good as crappie!!!! yum yum
woah, that be a snake. Have seen other pics of big uns like that before. Want no part of those things.
Taste like chicken!!
If you can catch one of those ALIVE it is worth a ot of money to a zoo or collector.
Did you know that here in Arkansas, it is illegal to kill any snake. Don't know about catching em though.
Hey CP, you need to use his method of taking photos. That way if your arms to short to make em look big just cut a longer stick.rotfl
CP, I enjoy seeing you're pics and hearing how you really describe in detail how you caught your fish and where on the lake. I think that 23 limits and counting says a lot about a good crappie fisherman and his
ability to adapt and change methods if necessary to keep on the fish. Keep posting those pics of those nice slabs.

Do they really get this big? I just wonder now that i take a hard look at the pic it may be a snake in the grass the shadow running on the left side of the snake looks suspicious to me. Im sure the snake was a big one but was the photo doctored, other than him holding it out on a stick. What do you experts think? Can a rattlesnake really get this big and whats your thoughts about the photo being doctored?
CA I would never long arm a small crappie. HAHA!!!
thanks.....nightmares!!!!! i hate snakes
Catch 'em?!?:yikes:yikes That'd be hard to do running away from 'em!nonono:biggrin:biggrin
Hey CP - I have seen them 8-10' long in the TN side of the Mississippi River bottom land were I grew up. I have seen skins that would cover a canoe.
LOL Billy you sure you didnt see anaconda got loss from the Zoo. Naw just kidding brother I am sure they get that big I would love to see one that big from a distance of course.
We got one two years back in ouachita. Not that big but big. The first big one i have ever seen in arkansas. Rattle snake in the middle of the lake. I did not know they even got in the water. I can't say exactly what happened because it's illegal to kill snakes on ouachita. But it involved a boat paddle and a couple of scared sh----ss crappie rednecks that were caught by surprise. Not pretty
